Please Don’t Destroy, a new movie that is currently filming in the Charlotte, NC area currently has a casting notice out for paid background actors. The Judd Apatow comedy will be filming in the area through the end of August.
The Universal Pictures project is from former SNL folks who will star in the movie and are credited with the writing and production. According to a story in Variety, Do Not Destroy centers on three childhood friends who live and work together. Those friends, we assume are Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy…. When the threesome decides they don’t like their life trajectory, they set off to find a gold treasure that is rumored to be buried in the nearby mountain. Judd Apatow is producing the comedic project.
I have been working as an extra on this film for a few days and got picked up for more time. I have also been asked by the casting director to send out this information to anyone else who would be interested in casting for the film.
