After spending exorbitant amount of time on youtube--my browser literally stays on youtube most of the day--and watching other creators, specifically Jessica Kobeisi, I realized that the live streams I used to do, was exactly what she was doing.
Overall, before the editing in post, this image took around 1.5hrs to complete. Something like this is good, I would like to think. It allows people to see the amount of work that actually goes into the retouching process, its not just a filter, some brushing, and BAM, epic image. Its time, patience, and a lot of trial and error.
I'm not the biggest fan of retouching live streams, but this i was considered to give a whirl. Long story short, I really enjoyed it. It offered me the ability to teach without actually doing any teaching, just mindless talking into a camera, its actually quite the stress reliever.
